Tour Description
For your whale watching experience in Reykjavik, on this tour you can choose between 3 beautiful boats: the Andrea, which is the biggest whale watching boat in Iceland; and the Rósin or Liljan, which are all specially modified for whale watching. Please note that these boats have different departure times. All boats have great viewing areas, both inside and outside. This tour gives you a great chance to see the great Icelandic Whale in it´s natural habitat.
Icelandic waters are very rich in marine life, so, depending on the season, we can expect to see humpback whales, minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and various sea birds. Your whale watching adventure starts from the Reykjavik Old Harbour. On the tour, the expert guides will tell you all about the different kinds of whales you are likely to spot, as well as entertain you with some sea-faring tales about close encounters with whales. Whales in their natural environment are a spectacular sight and they often surface quite close to the boat, so be ready to capture the moment. There is over 90% viewing success!

Details
The Andrea is the biggest whale watching boat in Iceland with fantastic inside and outside viewing areas and a safe family-friendly environment. A comfortable seating area with big windows is available inside, as well as a Café & Souvenir shop on board. Outside, the viewing decks are extra-large, so everyone can find a spot by the railing and get close to the amazing nature and scenery all around.
The Rósin (Rose) is the fastest whale watching express boat in Iceland, one of a kind. It's a fast cruiser, equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and has luxurious facilities, to ensure everyone's safety and comfort during the voyage.
During the tour the guides will inform the passengers about safety precautions, surroundings and the wildlife.
